Last thought, when selecting a new character, if you want to compare between the old and new of a certain class then sometimes with certain characters the old characters dice panel opens and overlays the new option, rather than going above or under, so a direct comparison isn't possible. I was also thinking, just as an idea, it would be quite useful if you could drag the dice around once they have been rolled, just as another way to help organise each roll and see what combinations would work together before deciding which to re-roll or lock in. I'm aware of the double click to arrange them in a column, but I just think sometimes a different way to organise them could be quite useful. Singleplayer modes seem to work fine, but I was not able to connect to online servers since they rely on Steam. I manually extracted all the game files using WinRAR and GCFScape to skip installing Steam, then dropped in an emulated Steam.dll (courtesy of RevEmu) to trick the game into starting. People who purchased the game legitimately and want to play it on these operating systems are no longer able to do so through no fault of their own.
This is a problem because Steam no longer supports XP or Vista. Half-Life 2 is compatible with Windows XP and Vista, but all versions of the game (even hard copies) require Steam before they will run.
